Yaowang Shan Qian Fu Ya Sceneic Area

"Qianfo Cliff" is a famous landscape on Yaowang Mountain. It is rumored that the earliest stone Buddha statues here are works from the Songzan Ganbu period in the 7th century. The huge Sakyamuni stone carvings and thousands of Buddha statues have created an art world of Buddha in Tibetan Buddhism. The cliffs are scattered and arranged with reliefs of varying sizes, mostly incarnations of Guanyin, Wenshu, Doum and the god of the law.

Located on the back of Yaowang Mountain, it is a holy place in the hearts of local believers. Every day, many people come here to turn around and visit. The whole scenic spot is centered on the thousands of Buddha towers and cliff stone carvings and Tangka. It has a long history and there are many workshops for making Buddhist tributes.

Lhasa's Thousand Buddha Cliffs are located on the cliffs on the north side of Yaowang Mountain, southwest of the Potala Palace.
