Fun day trip
Lots of fun went with grandkids and a dog they all had a great time. Easy trail, lots of birds. Great photo-ops. Funny incident... Overheard another woman complaining about all the "fallen leaves and ...
Very quiet and relaxing walk looking at all the beautiful trees. The walking paths are nice. We got a little lost on the way back even following the path. There are downed trees in the way
The Cedar Grove sits atop a curvy 2 way road. There was ample parking and so many trails to take through the Cedar Forest and so many unique trees! So glad we made this a Must See stop.
We made a point of stopping to see the ancient Cedar forest. It's not as grand as the Redwood Groves in California, but it is quite a lovely little walk.
After visiting Kootenai Falls, make a trip here. So glad we did. Something about the stillness, solitude and seeing these majestic trees that just calms the soul. Arrived 3:00 on a Friday, 9/9/22, ...
