Find a romantic trip to Gatwick.
🛩 Arriving at Gatwick Airport gave me a surprise - immigration procedures were completed in 20 minutes. 🛂 Take the shuttle train from the North Terminal to the South Terminal in the blink of an eye. Follow the signs, take the elevator downstairs, walk a few steps, and the car rental point is in front of you. 🚗 Our self-driving tour starts here, and the car will be returned here at the end, then take the express to Victoria Station, which can be done in 30 minutes. 🚆
🚇 London Underground, a labyrinthine existence, but I have a secret weapon - Google Maps. Follow it, and I can find a way out in the complex subway lines. 🛣
🌳 Hyde Park, just opposite Lancaster Gate Station, there are cute squirrels here to greet us every day. Hyde Park and Kensington Park are neighbors, separated by a small river, and water birds gather on the river. 🐿️
🏰 Big Ben and Westminster Palace, magnificent, amazing. In the afternoon, the backlight on the bridge makes them more mysterious, and the small green space in front is the perfect background for the light. 🌲
🏛️ The British Museum, must go in the morning 🌅, fewer people, better photo and tour experience. When we left at two o'clock in the afternoon, the museum was already crowded. 📸
🌉 London Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, although a bit far away, their characteristics are irresistible. The Natural History Museum and the V&A Museum are neighbors, and the whale skeleton here is a check-in point for everyone. Remember to make an appointment, otherwise the queue will make you wait until the flowers are gone. 🐾
🏰 Buckingham Palace, crowded with people, the royal guards are not as good as our People's Liberation Army, but the changing of the guard ceremony still attracts countless eyes. 👮♂️
🍽️ About eating, we have a few recommendations. The breakfast shop near the hotel is full of fireworks, and three people eat 24 pounds. Chinese food near the British Museum, the price is average. Mediterranean restaurant near Paddington Station, delicious. The Polish restaurant near the Natural History Museum is a bit expensive, but it is definitely worth a try. 🍴
🌲 Gatwick, UK, a city full of history and modernity, every exploration is full of surprises. Next time, I will come again and continue my adventure. 🌆🌳
Hyde Park is very large and was once famous for the many speeches given there by prominent figures! The waterfowl here are not afraid of people at all; if they see you taking food, they will fly over and try to snatch it, so be very careful!
Hyde Park was a delightful afternoon, the sun shining brightly, the lake clear, and the few visitors. The park itself is quite large, boasting a historic palace, white swans soaring in pairs, tourists leisurely basking in the sun, and adorable squirrels. The park has a natural feel, lacking any overt themes, simply offering a place to relax and experience nature. Once Britain's most renowned and largest royal park, it witnessed both the extravagance of the royal family and the progress of social civilization and the transformations of freedom and democracy. A spring visit should also offer a variety of flowers and plants.
There are many activities, you can choose the activities according to your preferences, the atmosphere is super good, it is worth a visit. There are also many things to eat, such as German sausages, roasted chestnuts, etc. There are so many things sold in the small market, you can choose what you like if you walk around slowly.
Hyde Park (HYDE PARK) is the most famous park in London. Hyde Park is also Britain's largest Royal Park. Located in the Westminster Abbey (Westminster Abbey) area of central London, the park covers more than 360 acres and belongs to the Westminster Church industry. Before the eighteenth century, this was the King's deer farm. In the 16th century, King Henry VIII used it as a royal park. During the reign of Charles I, Hyde Park was open to the public. In 1851, Queen Victoria held the first London International Fair here. Hyde Park used to be the King's deer farm in history, and later became a venue for racing cars and horse racing. There is also a famous Royal post road in the park, with huge trees on both sides of the road. The whole road is like a green "tunnel". In the eastern heart of the Thames, Hyde Park connects Kensington Park to the West and Green Park to the east, forming a luxurious green space in London. There is a marble triumphal arch in the northeast corner of Hyde Park and Wellington Arch in the Southeast corner, but the most famous one should be the Speaker's Corner. As a historical symbol of British democracy, citizens can speak on any topic related to national economy and people's livelihood. This tradition continues to this day. Hyde Park covers an area of 1.6 million square meters. It is the largest Royal Park in London and the most famous park in London. It was the King's deer-hunting farm before the 18th century and was later converted into a park. There is a famous "Freedom Forum" in Hyde Park, also known as "Speech Corner", which is a place where public speech can be made. There are often impromptu speeches and almost annual large-scale open-air summer concerts are held here. There is a cavalry camp in Hyde Park at the south end of Hyde Park. The first thing we see in the morning is horse training. There are fountains and sculptures built in Hyde Park to commemorate the unknown heroes who died in the war. To the west of Hyde Park is Kensington Park. In Kensington Park, visitors can visit the Kensington Palace where Princess Diana once lived.
Take the subway to MARBLE ARCH and then to Hyde Park. He has many doors. I think this station is better. Hyde Park is the most famous park in London and the largest Royal Park in Britain. There is a Sainsbury" s supermarket across the street before entering. We bought a lot of food, sandwiches, Indian box lunch, beer, yogurt, potato chips, cola and juice. It took less than 10 pounds. We happily entered Hyde Park. After entering the park, we walked left, there was a public toilet for about 5 minutes, and then we walked along the lake. There were ducks, swans and Mandarin ducks. Pigeons, all kinds of green should be blue and super-beautiful in the sky. Involuntarily humming out "the mist in the sky comes carelessly, the river is as quiet as oil painting, and the pigeons are lazy, biting the clouds and secretly clearing up" picnicking in the park, walking and enjoying the sunshine in the blue sky.
Built in 1536, Hyde Park in central London opened to the public in 1637 and quickly became popular, especially during the May Day parade. Free speech and demonstrations have been a feature of Hyde Park since the 19th century.
Hyde Park is the largest royal garden in London. It was once a hunting ground for the royal family and a place for leisure and comfort. The World Expo was held there and now it is a gathering place and a tourist attraction for the public. Hyde Park has several gates and a very large area. There are also roads in the park. There are views all year round, especially various activities, which are worth checking in repeatedly.
