#uktrip ## Sky-High Views from the London Eye 🎡🇬🇧 Riding the London Eye was one of the most unforgettable highlights of my trip to London.Standing gracefully along the River Thames, this iconic observation wheel offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline. As the glass capsule slowly lifted above the ground, I watched London unfold beneath me in every direction. From the top, I could clearly see landmarks like Big Ben and the historic Houses of Parliament. The gentle rotation made the experience calm and relaxing, giving plenty of time to take photos and simply enjoy the view. The city looked magical from above—busy streets, red buses, and historic buildings blending beautifully with modern architecture. As sunset approached, the sky turned shades of pink and gold, reflecting on the river below. The London Eye isn’t just a ride—it’s a peaceful, scenic experience that captures the true beauty of London from above.

#hellohalloween From across the Thames, the London Eye rises like a slow-spinning halo above the city — elegant, enormous, and quietly commanding. Each rotation takes over 30 minutes, offering panoramic views of London’s skyline: bridges, spires, glass towers, and the pulse of the city below. Each capsule fits up to 25 people, floating like bubbles in a giant wheel of wonder. For many, it’s a bucket-list experience. For me, it was a moment of admiration from afar — a bit too pricey for my budget, but no less magical. I stood by the river, camera in hand, capturing its silhouette against the sky. Sometimes, seeing from a distance is its own kind of intimacy.

When visiting London, taking photos at Big Ben and the London Eye is a must, right?! I always want to capture beautiful photos in picturesque places! I enjoy setting up a tripod and taking pictures by myself, but in Europe, pickpocketing is so common that it's impossible 😭 While pondering over this, I decided to capture my memories of London through a snap photography session! I had my photos taken with Avian Snap (@avian.snap), and I was worried there might be too many people at the tourist spots. However, they found beautiful, less crowded spots for the shoot, which was amazing!

Whenever the sun appears, the sky becomes breathtakingly beautiful. Walking through the conference square, an inexplicable sense of emotion arises, making me feel like a true Brit, not just a tourist. Every step fills my heart with excitement as I wander through ancient towns. The architectural styles from all my art textbooks—Gothic, Baroque, Rococo, and Renaissance—are all present in this city. Seeing them with my own eyes is an unforgettable experience that stirs the soul!

Completely follows the itinerary, basically no unreasonable detours or backtracking 👍 Feels like there are fewer detailed guides, so I made this one myself. Friends, feel free to use it! If your stamina is average or your time is limited, you can just choose the favorite parts of the itinerary as a reference. Day 1 (p2-p3) Check in at iconic landmarks! Big Ben and the London Eye aren’t particularly photogenic, but enjoy the night view of Tower Bridge 🌃 Day 2 (p4-p5) Art tour, visit the V&A Museum and the famous Natural History Museum Day 3 (p6-p7) Must-visit British Museum + National Gallery, watch the musical Hamilton in the evening Day 4 (p8-p9) Experience the local Borough Market, visit Tate Modern to feel contemporary art (the view is amazing), then go to the Courtauld Gallery to see oil paintings Day 5 (p10) White Cliffs Buy train tickets according to your wake-up time and weather forecast, Victoria Station to Eastbourne. Our hotel is very convenient to reach by subway! Day 6 (p11-p12) Since we were tired the day before, we started the itinerary in the afternoon, watched the musical The Phantom of the Opera. Christmas lights were already on, various streets to check out, and stopped by Selfridges to buy the limited edition Jellycat Day 7 (p13-p14) With limited time before the afternoon train, we went to the nearby Wallace Collection. Found out the Sherlock Holmes Museum is also nearby, so we checked in at the entrance (those interested can pay to go inside) London is really fun and great for shopping, there are still many places we didn’t get to in one week, looking forward to exploring more next time! Tips: 1. Our itinerary order was train - hotel - musical (skip if not interested) - specific attractions. Schedule the musical first, then arrange other plans. The White Cliffs were chosen for a day with relatively good weather in the middle of the trip. 2. Most museums and art galleries close at 6 PM, so please plan your time accordingly. 3. Museums that require reservations may not always check, but when crowded, it’s better to book in advance just to be safe. 4. Whether or not you’ve seen a musical before, I recommend trying one. Personally, I preferred The Phantom of the Opera for its top-notch stage design, props, and costumes. If you’re used to rock, pop, or rap, Hamilton is more recommended. Due to time constraints, we didn’t watch the equally classic Les Misérables.
