Ping'an Village—The first choice for visiting the Longji Rice Terraces in May and June
The Longji Rice Terraces, I had seen a lot before setting off
Originally, I wanted to go straight to Jinkeng Dazhai, but it was a bit late when I went
Afraid that I wouldn't have enough time to return, I looked at the strategies along the way
In fact, each terrace has strong seasonality and the best viewing times. Dazhai in autumn is even more spectacular,
while Ping'an Village in May and June has a large amount of water and the earliest irrigation
The viewing experience is also stronger!
Decisively drove there, it is truly the most beautiful terrace.
.
🎫80 yuan per person, free for children under 6
.
Ticket exchange tips🔔:
Go to the 'Longji Rice Terraces Ticket Office' for ticket exchange, collection, and inspection
And it's still far from the terraces, with many winding mountain roads, which are relatively hard to see
The main attractions are:
Jinkeng Dazhai (most comprehensive), Ping'an Village (most beautiful), and Guzhuang Village (closest)
.
Ping'an Village touring strategies:
The terraces here are the second largest, including 2 viewing platforms
① No. Nine Dragons and Five Tigers Platform
Highly recommended! The view is broad and very photogenic. 🚗 Navigate to the parking lot of Ping'an Zhuang Ethnic Rice Terraces Scenic Area, take the sightseeing car up and down, 50 yuan for a round trip per person, free for children under 6.
② No. Seven Stars with Moon Platform
Walk for half an hour from the Nine Dragons and Five Tigers viewing platform, this section of the road is relatively flat, and it's easier than going directly there
.
One-day trip itinerary:
For families with children, it's suggested to only visit the Nine Dragons and Five Tigers Platform, where you can walk into the terraces, observe closely, and enjoy a good view, most importantly, the sightseeing car goes directly there, saving effort.
If you have the stamina, you can walk from Nine Dragons and Five Tigers to Seven Stars with Moon and then return by car, a round trip of more than one hour, because the sightseeing car only goes to Nine Dragons and Five Tigers.
.
Two-day trip itinerary:
day 1 Stay in a homestay near Ping'an Village, visit one of the viewing platforms in Ping'an Village, experience the local folk customs in nearby villages, and enjoy the night view with lights in the evening.
day 2 Visit Jinkeng Dazhai, and choose one of the viewing platforms.
The terraces in Dazhai are the largest, including 3 viewing platforms
① No. Xishan Shaole
Directly accessible by car
② No. Thousand-Layer Ladder
Locals say it's the most beautiful! Navigate directly there; you can also hike up and down, but there are many stairs, and going up will be tiring, the starting point for hiking up and down is at the Jinkeng Dazhai parking lot, walk towards the archway to reach the stairs
③ No. Golden Buddha Peak
You can take the cable car up and down, 100 yuan for a round trip per person, buy tickets at the Jinkeng Dazhai parking lot, suitable for the lazy
Four-star evaluations are all for the scenery! All year round, the beautiful and the characteristic supporting facilities are all ordinary homestay standards! And local prices, especially meals, are generally too expensive, and there is obviously a phenomenon of tourist attractions slaughtering guests.
The terraced landscape is quite spectacular. From the downtown area of Guilin, the time is not short and it is very tiring. When I arrived at the top of the mountain, I looked around, layer by layer, layer by layer, but it was special. It is rare to see and it is worth a visit.
There was no traffic jam during the trip to Guilin, just 3 hours in the Longji Terraces in Longsheng County. This place is not recommended for vacation, because there is no scenic traffic can only be driven by car, the mountain road is very narrow, the cable car 100 to the Golden Buddha top, the scenery is not as good as the free No. 2 thousand-story ladder observation deck.
The scenery is nothing to say. Although I didn't see the golden eyes, the green thousand-story terraces were as shocking as they were, and they were very worth visiting. Although you can play Dazhai one day, it is recommended to stay for one night. The sunrise is really beautiful. In the case of clouds, the scenery of the sun penetrating the clouds on the terraces is even more magnificent. Self-driving is the first choice for travel, because the distance between the three villages is really far. But try to drive small vehicles, the more some sections of the road are only one and a half wide, the car will be quite a test of technology. On the road, I also saw that there was a RV to enter, which was really blocked all the way. . .
Longji Rice Terraces, also known as Longsheng Rice Terraces, are a scenic area located in Longsheng County, Guangxi Province, China. It took more than 4 hours to take the bus from Yangshuo to Longji, but the terraces were really beautiful and shocking. The moment I boarded the viewing platform, I felt that the bumps of this road were worth it! Stayed here for one night, a pleasant and relaxing day!
