The Las Ventas Bullring in Madrid is located in the eastern part of the city. It was built in 1929 and opened on June 17, 1931. It is an ancient Roman theater-style circular building with a brick red exterior, which echoes the red cloak of the matador. The bullring can accommodate about 32,000 spectators and there is a bullfight almost every day during the peak period, which is often packed. As a high-level bullfighting performance in Spain, bullfighters from all over the country and around the world are proud to perform in the Madrid Bullring.
