I booked a walking tour online which includes tickets to the Royal Palace of Madrid. I would so recommend doing so if you are going to Madrid because: No. 1 you have a tour guide that walks with you while explaining the history of Madrid & No. 2 you get to skip the queue for getting tickets and also entering the Royal Palace (very important because the palace is always really busy and the sun in Madrid is blazing hot 🥵) The palace is well maintained, very pretty and grand and definitely is worth a visit. I would say the palace quite the perfect example of east meet west where you can see some oriental inspired decorations and wallpapers. I personally do not have any prior knowledge about the Spanish royal family so it was nice to have a tour guide who explained everything to the finest details to us!! #timetotravel #境外遊 #madrid #royalpalace

Spain is a beautiful country that is very worth visiting. After our first night in Madrid (quite lazy), we decided to make the most of the next day to make up for it. The next day we started off at Madrid's famous food market, Mercado de San Miguel, where we had some delicious food, and then we headed to Plaza Mayor, the main square of Madrid. Since it is the main square, it is expected that the restaurants and bars around the area might be a bit more expensive than usual. The rest of the time was spent on various things, from eye-catching, stunning Spanish architecture... to colorful gardens... and quaint alleys. One of the main attractions worth seeing here is the Almudena Cathedral, this astonishing cathedral is located opposite the Royal Palace of Madrid.

This ancient Egyptian temple, gifted to Spain, is stunning at sunrise ✨ when the soft golden light reflects on the water surrounding it. It has the similar sophisticated, classical styled architecture like that of Paris or London.
