The ancient Wuyun Temple, which is also a temple with golden charm, is consistent with the golden temperament that Mangshi has always had.
No tickets are required. It is a very quaint Theravada Buddhist temple. You need to take off your shoes to enter the main hall. I saw older people playing cards and drinking tea inside. There are a few big banyan trees outside Wuyun Temple that are very beautiful, and there are many Dai-flavored restaurants around. Feel free to walk into a family for dinner. The yellow braised chicken is delicious!
This place is really nice, it looks beautiful
Today I visited Wuyun Temple, please look at the picture.
Wuyun Temple is called "Zanghan" in Dai language. Because there are five big green trees in front of the gate and many egrets live on the trees for many years, they look like five white clouds from a distance, so it is called Wuyun Temple. That is the Temple of Gold. It is the first Buddhist temple built in Mangshi. The temple enshrines the first Buddha statue "Palaguomeng", the former chieftain Fang Dingzheng ushered into the Mangshi area from Myanmar, and is regarded as a treasure.
Located on the west side of the middle section of Wuyun Road, Chengdong, Mangshi, Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan. Built in the 4th year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1665), it was the first Buddhist temple built in Mangshi. The temple enshrines the first Buddha statue "Palaguomeng", the former chieftain Fang Dingzheng ushered into the Mangshi area from Myanmar, and is regarded as a treasure.
