Tengchong Volcano Cluster

The volcanoes in Tengchong are basically dead volcanoes, and the altitude is not very high. There are not many things to see on the top of the mountain, but there are a lot of green vegetation. The hot air balloon is fixed and the price is not cheap, but the scenery you can see is still good.

The Tengchong volcano group has nearly 100 volcanic bodies and several lava platforms, which is the best destination for exploring volcanic landforms. Tengchong Volcano Group is the most typical Quaternary Volcano Group in southwest China, one of the four major volcanic groups in China, and an important tourist attraction in Baoshan City, Yunnan Province. The Tengchong Volcano Group has more than 70 ancient dead volcanoes, and the open-sized and empty mountains are located in the Tengchong Volcano Geopark. It can be viewed from many angles through hot air balloons, climbing, etc.

Yunnan Tengchong Volcano Group is located on the west side of Gaoligong Mountain in the southern section of the Hengduan Mountain System in China. It has many volcanoes, wide area and complete eruption types. It is one of the youngest volcanic areas in China.
