It is located in the center of politics and culture in ancient Izumo, and is a shrine that plays a role in summarizing Izumo no Kami 々 as a general shrine in Izumo province. The Iu River flows in front of the shrine, and it is enshrined in the center of "Izumo no Kokufu" (Iu plain), which has the only natural landscape in Japan that remains in the ancient Ritsuryo era.
