Nice temple, lot’s to see
We wanted to walk a small port of the 88 temples route, and Matsuyama area is well suited for that because a number of temples are in close proximity. We started in this temple #46 and walked till #51...
Please be careful because the entrance to the parking lot is narrow.

The temple is also enshrined in Benzaiten, so I highly recommend it! Lotus flowers, peony, hydrangea and wonderful flowers for each season. Especially lotus is a must-see.

46 Banfudasho Joruriji Temple If you go around the opposite side, the last temple in Matsuyama City, simple but majestic, will be one of the most impressive. In the precincts, there is Ibukibiaxin, which is said to be over 1000 years old. The parking lot is a little back and is free.
Although it is far from the city center, I heard that the hydrangea seems to be in full bloom, so I went with my friends. The hydrangea was also in bloom, but we were more impressed by the lotus flowers that were beginning to bloom. On weekdays, there were few people in the precincts, but there were people who were taking flowers with a large camera at the lotus pond next 々. In the precincts, there were many stones that seemed to be beneficial, such as stones that were shaped like Buddha's hands and feet. Also, Matsuyama City's Natural Monument ...
