A large precinct with quiet maintenance
Passing through the mountain gate, you will find an information board for the Ehime Prefecture-designated monument (historic site) "Mausoleum of Sadamasa Matsudaira". The large precincts are well maintained and cobblestones continue to the main hall. I even feel at ease in silence.
Shiga Ji Temple of the Hisamatsu family
It is a temple at the end of Matsuyama Shrine. It is an old temple that originated from the Jinguji Temple of the Hosso sect, which was built by the imperial edict in 690, and is one of the four times of the Hisamatsu family. In the precincts, there are mausoleums of Sadamasa Matsudaira and Sadyuki Matsudaira. It is a large and well-maintained temple.
It's also close to the center of Dogo on foot.
It is a place that can be reached on foot, plus a little sightseeing near Dogo Onsen. There is also a parking lot. Since it is not a "THE tourist spot", there are few people and you can worship calmly, and the cherry blossom season is very beautiful. Also, during the cherry blossom season, it is a place where many ugly beetles sing every year.

Located around the adult spot from Dogo Onsen, there is a sacred house of the Matsuyama feudal lord. It was a large, quiet and stately temple.
