Dingjun Mountain is a branch mountain of the Bashan Mountain Range. The Wuhou Tombs are located at its foot. This is the site of an ancient battlefield where the Shu fought against the Wei during the Three Kingdoms Period. It has been famous throughout history. Zhuge Liang once commanded his army here. When he passed away, he was buried beneath this mountain. The Dingjun Mountain road is quite dangerous. The Dingjun Mountain has twelve consecutive peaks one after another and stretches more than ten kilometers from the west to the east. It is like a dragon playing with beads on a string so it is sometimes called by the beautiful moniker “a dozen beads in the mountains."
