Bowen Falls

Bowen Falls, Bowen Falls, Bowen Falls. In 1871, the wife of then-New Zealand President George Bowen visited the place and named her husband. The waterfall is located on the cliff on the right side of the north side of the Milford Fjord Cruise Terminal, 5 minutes by boat from the Cruise Terminal. The Bowen Falls, which fall 161 meters from the valley of the Darren Mountains, are the highest of many waterfalls in Milford Fjord and are an iconic landscape of Milford Fjord. Looking out on the cruise ship, the waterfall is like a thin silver chain hanging on the wide and towering cliff wall, and you can't feel the spectacular. On the way back, the cruise ship slowly sailed to the waterfall. The silver chain was getting thicker and thicker, the sound of the waves was getting louder and louder, the water flowers were getting denser and the scenery was getting more and more spectacular. The cruise ship stopped by the waterfall, and the captain greeted tourists on the radio to board the deck to enjoy the "water of a waterfall that can make people young". On the deck, tourists enjoyed the mist from the sky, enjoyed the rainbow rising in the gorge, cheered and screamed, unwilling to leave the cruise ship.

Although it was in the fjord during the rainstorm, there was no blue sky and sea, but Mrs. Bowen Waterfall was therefore more grand and magnificent than the legendary. It should be noted that the waterfall is very close to the pier. The first time you pass the waterfall, it is when you lead the boat meal. It is easy to miss.

Baowen Falls, the second largest waterfall in Milford Fjord except Stirling Falls, is just off the right bank of the mountain wall not far from the cruise ship's departure point. In addition to taking a cruise, there are kayaking projects in Mifo Fjord, which may be close to the pier. Many people row to the waterfall for entertainment. The big boats are not as deep as the Stirling Falls, mainly for a long view.
