In "Miyamoto Musashi" by Eiji Yoshikawa, Musashi often depicts scenes of Musashi painting. Interactions with artists are also woven, and Koetsu Honami and others play an important role in the story. It is unclear whether these are historical facts, but it is true that Musashi left many paintings and old documents as it is stored in the museum. If it is real, it is unavoidable that there are many replicas only in the national treasure class, but it is a fun facility for Musashi fans, combined with the spots related to the surrounding area. The entrance is a little more gorgeous and ...
The central facility of Musashi no Sato, the birthplace of Musashi. The exhibits include Musashi's books and paintings, and paintings by Tomomatsu Kaihoku, who was a master of Musashi. There is also a video explaining Musashi's life in the hall, so you can slowly and quietly immerse yourself in the world of Musashi.
I'm a favorite reader of Bagabond (original by Eiji Yoshikawa, painted by Yuhiko Inoue).

The scale of the museum itself is small, and there are many works by people related to the museum, not replicas and Musashi himself, and I think that the evaluation is divided. I enjoyed the world of the title book, especially the weapons of the game used in the work, so I enjoyed it. Shinjo Mujisai's ten hands, Shishido Umeken's (chain) sickle, Hozoin's ten letter spear, etc. 々. Those exhibits had nothing to do with the characters, but I was able to fully enjoy the power of the real thing. However, as with this museum, the surrounding area ...
I stopped by on a bus trip. It seems to walk about 15 minutes from Chizu Express Miyamoto Musashi Station. From the parking lot, I will go through the museum and go out to the courtyard, but it was said that an admission fee of 500 yen was required to see the exhibition. The courtyard was large, there was a pond and carps were swimming. A statue of a young swordsman was built. The gate is also magnificent.
I can't recommend it to anyone who wants the real thing.

Located in the building of Musashi no Sato Olympic Bo. Admission is 500 yen. There are paintings of Daruma, Olympic books, portraits written by Musashi himself, but most of them are replicas. Swords and armor that have nothing to do with Musashi are also on display. There are few explanations of the exhibits, and I can't feel the value of paying 500 yen.
