It is an observatory near the tip of the northwestwestern tip of the sandbar that borders the Sea of Okhotsk and Lake Saroma. From the observatory, Lake Saroma extends to the south side of the narrow sandbar and the Sea of Okhotsk extends to the north side. According to the inscription, when the great turtle caught in the net was returned to the sea at the beginning of the Showa period, it came to be called ryugyodai because the cherry blossoms became a great fishing in the following year. It seems that the bus is coming to the nearby village, but it is a little inconvenient without a car.
