Germany Guide: Munich (1)
Capital of Bavaria, retaining the ancient charm of the former Kingdom of Bavaria
❤️ Marienplatz
✅ Center of Munich
Located in the center of Munich's old town, the city's new and old town halls are located here. Every morning, the clock tower on the square rings at 11:00, 12:00, and 17:00, and the puppets come out of the clock to perform, which is very interesting.
❤️ New Town Hall
✅ Interesting clock tower
Located on the north side of Marienplatz, to the left of the Old Town Hall, it was built in the 19th century. The brown-black Gothic building is characterized by vertical lines. The 85-meter-high clock tower is the most prominent feature, and the clock tower has the largest wooden puppet clock in Germany. When the clock rings, the puppets line up to perform, which is a must-see in Munich.
❤️ Frauenkirche
✅ Iconic building in Munich
Gothic style, built in 1488, originally had a spire, but was destroyed by a fire. When it was restored, it was rebuilt with an onion-style roof with a Southern European style. The pair of nearly 100-meter-high bell towers are the most prominent feature. Climbing to the top, you can not only see the cityscape of Munich, but also the distant Alps.
❤️ Bavarian State Opera
✅ Germany's most famous opera house
Built in 1818, also known as the "Bavarian State Opera", it is the most prestigious opera house in Germany. In the 19th century, it was an important base for the great German playwright Wagner's operas. To this day, there are performances all year round, making it a temple for music lovers.
❤️ Allianz Arena
✅ Stadium that can change colors
One of the most modern football stadiums in Europe, with 66,000 seats, it was used as the main venue for the 2006 World Cup and is also the main venue for Bayern Munich and Munich 1860. The exterior wall is very distinctive, consisting of 2,874 air cushions, 1/3 of which are equipped with lighting devices that can change to red and blue colors depending on the team playing. This design is called the "rubber boat" by locals.
❤️ BMW Museum
✅ Learn about the history of BMW
Located next to the Olympic Park, the headquarters of BMW, it is a testament to the history of BMW from its birth to its glory. The museum is a circular exhibition space with a huge blue and white BMW logo on the roof. The museum displays various models of cars, motorcycles, and some vehicle accessories launched by BMW over the years.
There is a big difference between the live broadcast on TV and the live game. The stadium is very big and the full house at the start of the game is very shocking. The shouts of the goals are very exciting. Munich is a football fan. The stadium is easy to find and can be reached directly by subway. It is very convenient to book with Ctrip. There will be a butler to contact on WeChat. The fan area is in a very good location. The stadium is still a bit cold in February. I must wear more clothes next time I go. Haha, I will choose Ctrip next time. It’s great. It’s a very good experience👍
Cool arena. Not sure how you would enter themuseum but we weren't going in anyway. Shop isup a few steps inside arena. You can also walkaround the inside periphery of the arena.Very remote location but easily accessed by citycentre by U-Bahn. You pay Zone M fare whencoming from the city centre so it's cheap.

The holy place in the hearts of Bayern fans, I have been thinking about it for so long, and finally it is reached! Let me talk about the transportation method from the airport to Allianz: the airport S8 to Marienplatz to transfer U6(Garching-Forschungszentrum or Fröttmanning direction) to Fröttmanning to get off at Allianz (thanks to Munich's indigenous friends for picking me up)! I bought a full-day pass, so it is the most convenient, 12 euros or 20 euros I forgot. There is also a football sign on the station sign, so I can't find it wrong. After entering the venue, follow the road sign to find a place to receive tourists. There is a pass to visit the stadium + Bayern Museum. There are many German explanations, and there are also English explanations. There is also a super large Bayern fan store, which is a variety of buys and buys! I went to Munich from Athens and wore a summer dress. . Munich has already had down jackets, I immediately bought a coat and wore it, hahaha. As a Bayern fan museum is definitely going! There are various trophies, equipment left by legendary players, jerseys, calendar tickets, etc. In the museum, my little universe is boiling to blow up~! By the way, if you visit, avoid the game day, otherwise it will not be open. Mia San Mia!
I was lucky to buy tickets two days before the game and saw Bayern's Bundesliga match against Frankfurt. It is very convenient to go from the city to Allianz Stadium. It can be reached by subway. There is a picture of football on the subway map. It is also a bunch of Bayern fans along the way. It is very good to recognize. It takes about 5~ 8 minutes to walk from the station to the stadium, but the surrounding area is empty so you can see the stadium far away. Allianz has seen the most beautiful and eye-catching appearance of several stadiums. The entrance security check is very simple, so there are many people and it will not wait too long. It is worth noting that shopping or eating in the stadium must be issued first, and cash is not charged with recharge, so if you don’t want to buy another card as a souvenir, it will be more convenient to buy outside the stadium, or there is a BistroBar in the middle of the stadium that is cash, but you can only eat in it, you can go to the halftime break, Surprised. The atmosphere of the stadium is naturally very cool. Needless to mention, the personal experience is that the Germans are still demeaning to watch the ball, but they still have enthusiasm and are very good. In addition, there will be scalpers selling tickets at the station, but the price will be opened casually. I decided to watch the ball temporarily to try my luck. If there is a plan, I can go to Bayern's official website to see. There is a second-hand ticket market to buy. It is good to see it a week before the game. Too early, no one sells, the price is much more reasonable than Viagogo, single tickets are good to buy, continuous seat tickets are often refreshed or there is a chance, I just brushed two hours in the evening before the game, bought 70 euros of tickets two, in Viagogo to buy more than 100.
The home stadium of the German Bayern Munich football team, Allianz Stadium, should be the holy place in the heart of the Bundesliga fans. It is already dazzling when it passes at night. In the morning, you will go to 10 euros for a person. There is an English tour guide to take you to visit the stadium, the players' lounge, and the press conference. You can have a fence in the players' lounge and you can't sit in your favorite player's position to take pictures, and finally go to the club's souvenir shop to buy jerseys and some souvenirs.
Because the family is a fan of the Bayern Munich football team, the trip specially arranged time to visit here. The stadium looks very magnificent, and it looks like a big rubber boat from a distance. It is said that its surface is composed of self-cleaning membrane structure, so it looks white as wash, very beautiful against the blue sky.
Allianz Stadium is the most modern stadium in Europe. When Bayern Munich hosts the home game, the stadium, which can accommodate 75,000 spectators, will be a red glowing body under the mapping of the lighting system, visible miles away. Designed by Swiss designers Jacques Herzog and Pierre Mullon, the exterior wall consists of 2,874 air cushions, of which 1,056 can shine in the competition. The beauty of the wall of the Allianz stadium in Munich can change when the teams in the stadium change, and the Munich people love the stadium so much that they affectionately call it a "seat belt" or a "rubber boat". The vote showed that most Munichers were willing to pay more tax for the "world's most wonderful stadium", and Bayern and 1860 would share the cost. In a vote,65.8% of citizens voted in favor of a new stadium, and37.5% of them signed in favor. The Allianz Stadium was designed by two young Swiss architects, Herzog and De Mellon, and was adopted in February 2002. Bayern President Beckenbauer laid the foundation for the new stadium in October 2002. The Allianz Stadium was officially completed in April 2005. The stadium offers a variety of recreational facilities for fans. Facilities such as catering, nursery, hall of fame, fan shop are all available. All areas for fans total about 6500 square meters. In addition, there are offices and conference rooms. The stadium is also not limited to 90 minutes of the game. With no track and no arcing area near the corner flag area, Bayern Munich's hardcore fans are closer to the stadium and their stars. Allianz Stadium is conveniently located close to the A9 road, and has the largest underground parking lot in Europe -- with 10,000 parking spaces. Its unusual surface consists of 2,874 wedge-shaped membrane structures, which are self-clean, fire-resistant, waterproof and thermally insulated, and always maintain a 350 Pascal atmospheric pressure. Each membrane structure can be illuminated in red, blue and white at night, corresponding to the color of Bayern Munich, 1860 and the German national team uniforms.
