great for the kids
great place for the kids. they can swim safely in the river. There is also a small shop with local produce, ice cream, coffee and other local products. There were also few food trucks and Nakagawa Act...
Family members come to play in the river in the summer. It's a shallow river, so it's for small children. The parking lot is not so large, so you may have to line up in a line waiting for parking.
There was a large parking lot when I was driving from Nakagawa City to Seifuri, so I wondered what kind of park it was. In a park centered on the river, there were places where locally produced vegetables and products were sold. The price was cheap and all fresh. It was large and seemed to be perfect for playing with children.
Around November, a hometown festival is held, but it's very fun to pick water plants and work wood for free. You can buy local vegetables and come to the festival every year with your children. In summer, playing in the river is so tedious that the parking lot will be full soon! You can also see fireflies during the rainy season.
You can see fireflies from May to June. Parking lots are also open during this time of year. When it gets dark, the trees along the river begin to shine. It is recommended as a spot for watching fireflies near Fukuoka.
