Located west of the Qinhuai River in Nanjing, Mochou Lake is a famous classical garden in the south of the Yangtze River with a long history of 1,500 years and rich cultural resources. It is said that Mochou was a beautiful girl in the south dynasty of Qi and Luoyang. She was very poor and sold her body to bury her father. She married Jinling far away. Not allowed to aunt, and finally committed suicide in the lake. Therefore, the name Mochou Lake.
