It’s just a 40-min ride from central Taipei and features rocks like you’ll have never seen before. A little bit of imagination is required but it still makes for a great outing.
I love it! Very beautiful place and the weather is really nice
The place is so amazing. Make sure to wear sunscreen on sunny day and bring a coat during winter season
Queen's Head, named after its similarity to Queen Elizabeth I, took over 4000 years to form. The length of its neck is 125 cm and has been weathered at a rate of 0.2 to 0.5 cm per year. It is expected to break in the next few years or by the next earthquake.
Beautiful nature features. It is incredible to see and bring the family and young children to see. Easy to book. Lots of Food and beverage stalls on sight as well.
I really appreciate the beauty of the geopark and we had a fantastic time on this tour. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. She speaks English fluent and she knows everything. She always smiles and crack jokes. Hope we will be with her again in our next Taiwan tour. We highly recommend this tour.
There’s a trail up the mountain which is green but the path is uneven so good footwear is recommended.(The toilets are extremely basic so carry your own tissue)
We went there on a weekday around 1:30pm and it wasn’t too crowded. It’s best to check their website before you go as reading about the rock formations before you see them makes the experience more worthwhile.
