The National WWII Museum

I'm a history buff and the national ww2 museum was a long awaited trip. It was an easy 20 mins walk from the French quarter. We ended up spending well past 5 hours here. There is just so much information to read and all very interesting. It's a well done exhibit and strongly recommended for those with an interest in history and world war 2 era.

As the United States joined the global struggle against Axis powers, the flagwas everywhere: spurring war bonddrives, workers in plants, gracing the bows of merchant ships and, certainly, rousing the spirits of soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines as they faced the gravest sacrifices.The flag's message-love of country, liberty always-resonates still. It is ever-present in the mission of this Museum.

The National WWII MuseumThe National WWII Museum The China Asia and Europe Pavilion recorded the wars of aggression launched by Japan and Germany in World War II, respectively, compared with the Israel World War II Memorial Hall, the latter more focused on the massacre of Jews, the former is different from a more comprehensive record of the history. Remove the pity for the death of war or the innocent death, remove the hatred of war, and hope that war never comes. Another part of reflection: Japan and Germany rose rapidly after the war, re-established themselves among the developed countries, and showed that the culture and institutions of the nation made them strong, and they could stand up again on their own strength even if they were brought into evil by some people or groups, even if they were destroyed. Standing up is still a giant. Culture and institutions are indestructible.

The World War II Memorial in New Orleans is a very large building with a striking logo. Close to the memorial, you will find every floor tile on a large floor, engraved with the names of sacrificed soldiers, which must be awe-inspiring. Originally thought that New Orleans and even the United States were not World War II battlefields, there would not be much to see in a World War II memorial here. After entering, I found that the exhibits here are very rich. The various weapons used in World War II include aircraft, tanks, military vehicles, and artillery. Especially some sound and photoelectric scenarios for simulated combat are very attractive. The introduction of the battlefield in Europe and the battlefield in the Pacific is also very objective. Well worth the visit. Just the ticket is a bit expensive for $24.

My husband is a World War II fan, he really wants to come to this place. It's worth it! It's really good, with a huge amount of information. We also bought tickets for the "Beyond the Borders" 4-D show. It's really great, the sound is loud, but it gives you an immersive feeling. Need a little walk, but the exhibition is great!

Must visit this museum. Tom Hanks' movie (4D) is worth a visit, but there are more, more. This museum really captures the hearts and minds of the greatest generation. It takes half a day to visit the museum. Personally, I'm really excited to see all the planes on display.

The museum is designed to commemorate all those who have contributed to the victory of the European, African and Pacific wars. If you like the history of World War II, you must go there. There are so many collections that you can experience it yourself.
