Mel2024An amazing castle and visiting the grounds was a treat. Full of history and going through the surroundings, it wasn't repetitive and not boring at all. I absolutely loved it and it's was very interesting. I love the Arab Room and the war shelters. Reasonable priced tickets compared to the Royal castle prices. I highly recommend this visit for all ages. The staff were friendly and helpful. I love Cardiff. It's so refreshing compared to London.

Went primarily to see the paintings but (and of course this is entirely a matter of personal taste) there wasnt a lot to rock my boat and not a lot of range. Some of the pottery was quite interesting but could have been better displayed. The natural history section on the ground floor was rather more interesting than expected- not too "dry"

M32***23The Glastonbury Abbey in the heart of Glastonbury is the site of legendary King Arthur and Queen Gui Nivir. The stone tower on the hilltop half an hour's walk from the abbey is said to be the gateway to the mysterious kingdom of Avalon. There is a paid parking lot on the side of the monastery, and there are plenty of parking spaces. There is a small bus called Tor Bus in the parking lot, which runs every half an hour and can go to the foot of the hill. It is recommended to take the bus to Tor, because there is no parking lot within a half-hour walk around Tor. Strong feet, love walking travel friends make another argument. Standing in the courtyard of the monastery, you can see the tall Tor, so don't worry about getting lost.
