Good birding spot
Lots of birds in the shrubs and a large area of mud flats to see gulls and wading birds during the season. Easy and flat trails make it a nice morning coffee mosey spot.
Watch out for quicksand mud!
PLEASE do not walk out on the mudflats when the tide is out! We had a frightening encounter when one of our party got stuck in the mud up to his waist. It's like quicksand in some places!
Little stretch of heaven

Nice walk through the flats
Loved our quiet walk through the flats during the week. Lots of birds. Benches to sit on along the way and fairly nice scenery except for the plant across the river. Otherwise lovely.
