Renqinbeng Temple

Renqinbeng Temple is the largest monastery in Motuo, located on the mountain of Zemala in the south of Motuo Village. The temple was built shortly after the relocation of Menbadong. It is rumored to be built by the living Buddha Gamba Temple. Originally a three-story building with 12 walls and four doors from east to south, with gilded bronze Buddha statues. It was destroyed in the 1950 earthquake and was rebuilt as two buildings from east to west.
