    Facing the sea.

    Original Text

A statue of Takeshiro Matsuura who devoted himself to the development of Hokkaido. It stands facing the Sea of Japan. The dusk time is especially good. The parking lot is large and convenient because it is in front of the roadside station.

Perhaps he himself became an immigrant. It seems that he was born in Mie Prefecture, but he conducted a survey of Hokkaido.
