In the anime "Detective Conan", Conan and his friends came to Korakuen together. The suggestion is to watch this anime first before coming to Korakuen. You will feel that the scenes in the anime are all active in reality. Every scene in the anime is a real existence in Korakuen, whether it is a hill or a koi in the pool, the arched bridge, the dark Okayama castle standing in the distance, and the garden Those few white cranes...hehe, walking in the garden, I feel like the protagonist in the anime~
Korakuen Garden is the private garden of the fanlord Ikeda's family in Okayama Prefecture. In 1687, Ikeda Tsunamasa ordered his retainer Tsuda Nagatada to start the construction of Korakuen Garden, which was completed in 1700 after 13 years. The original gardens of the Edo period are still intact to this day. This courtyard was used by Ikeda to entertain important guests at the time, and of course it was also a leisure resort for the Ikeda family, but it was sometimes open to local people. It can be seen from this that Ikeda is quite able to have fun with the local people.
The weather was not so good on the day when I came to Korakuen, it seemed so gloomy that raindrops would fall at any time. However, this still cannot conceal the beauty of Korakuen Garden, which is worthy of being one of the three famous gardens in Japan. I have seen Kenrokuen in Kanazawa before. The trees in Kenrokuen are taller and bigger, while Korakuen is a large lawn. You can basically have a panoramic view of the entire garden at a glance, but you can still feel the shift. The meticulous design of the scenery is worth a visit.
