Nothing special
Near Yanagawa intersection, there are several temples. Yakushi-in is one of them. It is however nothing special for tourists. If you really want to see a Japanese temple, it is enough to visit anyone ...
It is a temple of the Shingon sect located in an area where temples in Okayama city are gathered. The building is not very old and feels like it was built today. I don't know what's historical because there is no instruction manual.
It is a temple of the Shingon sect located a short walk south of Yanagawa tram stop. Many temples in the center of Okayama city were destroyed and rebuilt by the Okayama air raid, and this was also the main hall of a new building. Later, I went to the same Yakushiin in Takahashi City, but it seemed that the name was more there.
A Buddhist temple of the Shingon sect. When I was on the tram, I said, "If you come to Yakushiin, please get off here." However, among the many temples in the area of Mayacho, Yakushiin seemed to be a magnificent and central presence, especially the main hall.

not sure
Well, to be honest, we were not impressed by this sight. With all respect, but you can boldly miss it.
It's like a modern building.

The main hall is also magnificent.
