Lake Michigan

In order to watch the sunrise, I got up early despite being tired, drove from the hotel to the lake, shivering with cold, the whole city was still asleep, and a few of us were waiting patiently by the lake. In an instant, the sun☀️ jumped out of the horizon. It was beautiful and worth it.

I love Lake Michigan! It's a shame it was frozen over when I visited in late February... The turquoise waters must be stunning in the spring! Just thinking about running along the lake every day is so relaxing! Along the shoreline is Navy Pier, the Natural History Museum and the Observatory, and finally the University of Chicago! The vast expanse of the lake, like the ocean, is truly worth a visit!
