Locations in Pattaya that are definitely worth visiting!
Save this list so you don't miss the most interesting places 🩵🌏
1. The Sanctuary of Truth
This is a massive wooden temple, handcrafted without a single nail. The atmosphere feels like it's straight out of an ancient legend.
Entrance fee: 500 baht.
2. Koh Larn Island
Crystal-clear water, white sand, a true paradise island 🥥 just 40 minutes away by ferry from Pattaya. The most photogenic spots can be found near Samae Beach, which is also the most pleasant for relaxation.
Expenses are only for transportation: 30 baht for the ferry and 30-40 baht for a tuk-tuk on the island to the beach, and the same for the return trip.
3. Big Buddha Hill
An 18-meter golden Buddha statue atop a hill, offering stunning views of the city.
Entrance is free. It's important to wear clothing that covers your arms and legs at least to the knees.
4. Pattaya Viewpoint on Pratumnak Hill
You can combine this with a visit to the Big Buddha — it's nearby. Panoramic views of Pattaya, the bay, and the famous PATTAYA CITY sign. If you want to see the city from above and take amazing photos, this is the place to go.
Entrance is free.
5. Khao Kheow Open Zoo – the best zoo near Pattaya
If you want to see animals not behind bars but in a natural environment, this place will definitely impress you. Plus, you can feed and even pet some of the animals.
It's best to go for the whole day, starting early in the morning, as the zoo is very large. I also recommend taking a tour with a transfer, including transportation within the zoo, as buying tickets and paying for transportation separately might even be more expensive.
6. Terminal 21 Shopping Mall
Each floor is designed in the style of different cities: Paris, London, Tokyo, etc. The mall's unique style and design deserve special attention. A huge number of shops, a supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants, and even a cinema — all compactly gathered in one place in the city center.
7. Central Pattaya — the main shopping mall in the city.
Similarly, there are many shops, familiar brands, and local showrooms, a food court and restaurants, a cinema, and gaming areas. What's especially great is the direct access to the beach (Pattaya Beach).
8. Pratumnak Beach
One of the coziest and most beautiful beaches in Pattaya. It's located in the Pratumnak Hill area — between the city center and Jomtien, so there are far fewer people and noise here compared to the central beaches.

Show More ReviewsIt’s a nice to have seen. The tour guide was ok, but stalling to long and walked in circles to much. But it’s a nice place.
