What travelers say:

The independent history park is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the center is the independent palace. It was built as the Pennsylvania Capitol building in 1753 and was used as the Capitol building of the Pennsylvania state and federal government until the state capital moved to Lancaster in 1799. The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States were adopted here and were the seat of the Constituent Assembly in the summer of 1787.
