I have to say that the Penn Museum is also a No. 1 museum. The exhibits are rich, unique, and academic. In particular, the Chinese national treasures in the Asian Pavilion are moving... The consulting service is also very satisfactory. The Egyptian Pavilion is under renovation, but some of the cultural relics have been merged into other pavilions. The national treasures of Mesopotamia in the Middle East and the Mayan Aztec civilization in New America are astonishing. There are really piles of ancient Greek and Roman cultural relics. The underground special exhibition even has an introduction to the U2 aircraft incident in 1960... In short, the Penn Museum is worth the trip!

It's good. Very much about the objects of the dead. The Native American exhibit could be better.Maybe do more about the tribe to whom you havemultiple land acknowledgements? That wouldshow more respect than the hollow words on yourwalls.
Penn Museum, officially known as the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Established in 1887, it houses one of the world's largest and most comprehensive collections of archaeological and anthropological artifacts.
Shocking professional museum! There are many Chinese treasures in the collection, 2 of Zhaoling 6 are here
Especially good, traces of human civilization
A university has a top museum, reflecting the leading side of the American university. The University of Pennsylvania Archaeological and Human Museum is famous in the archaeological community. I was surprised it was founded as early as 1887, and I was surprised that it had a million pieces in its collection, and even more surprised that the dome hall in the center of the museum was left with Chinese artifacts. In many aspects of ancient bronzes, mausoleum stone carvings, Buddhist sculptures and temple-viewing murals, Penn is a leader in overseas museums, which once led the collection of Chinese art in North America. The Chinese academic community in North America even invented the term "China Round Hall", which refers to the art collection under the main dome of the Penn Museum. Forgive my custom, I love the bright jewelry more than the Buddha statues of the surrounding value. The small watermelon crystal ball placed around the middle of the hall turned around to see, through the crystal ball refracted the reflection of the opposite scenery, magical and interesting, no wonder Cixi is extremely fond of. For and playing, I also choose "play reward". The most watched exhibits by the Chinese are two gods from the Zhaoling Tomb of Tang Taizong. The Lulu Zi and Quan Mao displayed at the Xi'an Stele Forest Museum in China are replicas made of plaster and cement. The Egyptian collection of the Penn Museum is considered one of the best in the world, with a large collection of statues, mummies and reliefs, and the most well-known is its collection of towers, The 13-ton Granite Sphinx of Ramses II is very striking. Tickets are $15 for adults; $13 for 65+; $10 for6-17 age; free for under 5 years old. (There is a discount in the summer, $10 for tickets when I go)* Visit time, at least 1.5 hours. Loved art, more than 2 hours.
Worth admiring, worthwhile trip
