Tanjung Tuan Recreational Forest

The Tanjung Tuan Recreational Forest is actually hilly and on top of it is a lighthouse known as Rumah Api Tanjung Tuan or Cape Rachado, but unfortunately visitors cannot enter the lighthouse which is over 100 years old and can only take pictures from the outside.

Tanjung Tuan Recreational Forest is located about 20 km from Port Dickson town. It is located within the Tanjung Tuan Forest Reserve, under the supervision of the Melaka District Forest Office. Interesting fact - it is located in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, but belongs to Malacca. Tanjung Tuan is also known as Cape Richardo. It is the only Bukit Pantai Dipterocarp Forest in Melaka. It covers a small amount of Mangrove Swamp Forest and Coastal Forest. To get here, do a Google Maps search for 'Tanjung Tuan Forest Recreation' or 'PNB Ilham Resort'. Tanjung Tuan Recreational Forest is open from 7 am to 6 pm. A fee of RM1 is charged for visitors aged 12 and above
