When I finally went to downtown Portland to visit Lansu Garden, I was pleasantly surprised! I have traveled to China many times, and if it weren’t for the background of high-rise business buildings, I would have thought I was visiting a small Chinese garden in China. I know the workers from China brought materials, raw materials, even stones to build the roof on this project. It’s fun to walk around here, quiet, to get out of the busy city, slip into the garden gates and temporarily forget about Portland, Oregon. If you’re in Portland, it’s worth a visit. I also know Christmas is a good time to visit, as they add lights to the evening.
