🚘 Depart from Seattle and drive for about 2 hours to Multnomah Falls in Oregon, the largest waterfall in the state, with a total height of about 189 meters, divided into two sections. ⛰️ Climb a short distance up the mountain to the bridge in the middle of the waterfall and take photos overlooking the beautiful scenery. 🪼 After descending the mountain, you can also go to Mitchell Point Tunnel to enjoy the view of the Columbia River. 🚘 In the afternoon, drive for about 1 hour to Washington Park, located in Portland, covering more than 410 acres, with an international rose test garden, where you can enjoy hundreds of roses, very beautiful. Japanese Garden, experience the Portland Japanese Garden, especially the winter dry landscape, with very large koi. There are also several attractions such as the Oregon Zoo. if you are staying in Portland for vacation, this is a must see destination. it’s very cheap to get in and not far at all from the city! just a short drive from most hotels and locations in downtown. we went on a rainy day and still did not have any trouble with the location. there’s not mud or anything alike but we were prepared for such conditions. I suggest bringing an umbrella and looking at weather before you go if that’s something that’s important to you. there is also a lot of stairs in some areas and small hills so be prepared to walk on more than just flat ground. overall, it was a great way to spend a few hours of our day and not get too far away from where we were staying. #hiking #hiking #gardens
