International Rose Test Garden

The rose garden is absolutely super beautiful. There are all kinds of colors and varieties, which reminds me of the happy memories with my mother and her own rose garden. Garden tickets are free, parking is cheap, only 1.6 dollars per hour. This time is worth it.

Portland's International Rose Test Park is located in Washington Park, opposite the Japanese Garden. The Rose Garden is on the top of the hill. It needs a car to go up the hill. It happened to rain when we went, and the October blossom season was almost over, but there were still showers of fragrance. The scenery is not beautiful, but it's quiet. It can make you think about life in a daze.

You can see many different roses here. It was a pleasure to go on a good weather day and the views of downtown Portland and Mount Hood were fantastic.
