The Lennon Wall was originally an ordinary wall. Since the 1980s, people began to paint John Lennon-style graffiti and fragments of the Beatles lyrics on this wall. In 1988, Lennon Wall became the source of the Czech people’s venting of anger against the Husak communist regime. This wall can be said to have a long history. It is a wall where many young artists or young people express their emotions. In the contemporary era, it has become a symbolic symbol of the youth ideal "love and peace."
