Qianling Museum

Traveling to Shaanxi, this stop came to Xianyang City to visit Qianling. Qianling's former garden is also called Tang Qianling. It is a tomb of the Tang Dynasty, for the joint burial of Tang Gaozong Li Zhi and Queen Wu Zetian. Qianling is more scattered, the navigation takes you to the entrance of the ticket office, where you can buy tickets, you can visit the museum, there are Prince Mausoleum and Princess Mausoleum, the imitation Palace Museum is also nearby, but to go to the main mausoleum, that is, the joint burial mausoleum, you need to drive again.

The Qianling Museum is with the tomb of Princess Yongtai. It makes full use of the place where Princess Yongtai tomb is located. The exhibits are also very professional, with close theme, and it is worth seeing. You can fully understand the situation of Qianling and its surrounding burial cemetery.

A day trip to the Xi'an West Line, I came to the Qianling Museum. Qianling is the first batch of key national cultural relics protection units announced by the State Council in 1961. It is a joint burial tomb of Tang Gaozong Li Zhi (628 – 683) and the only female emperor in Chinese history, Wu Zetian (624 – 705). Qianling's current ground remains Sima Shendao, 60 Shichen stone statues, no-word monuments, Shushengji monuments, Yulou ruins, etc.

Qianling Museum was the earliest cultural relics showroom, in August 1977, the cultural relics showroom opened to the public, display area 232 square meters. The 1200 square meters murals in the three tombs of Princess Yongtai, Prince Zhang Huai and Prince Suide can be called the "underground gallery of Shengtang painting art", which is open to the public at the same time after protective renovation for Chinese and foreign tourists to visit.

It is the only couple emperors buried in the country and even the world. The site is 80 kilometers away from the ancient capital Xi'an, and the national road of Xi (An) Lan (State) passes by the Mausoleum. Qianling is a national key cultural relics protection unit, is a famous resort on the western line of Shaanxi Province sightseeing tour.

The Qianling Museum has undergone many layout changes. In October 1999, Qianling Museum invested more than 200,000 yuan to re-adjust the exhibition of the museum, the existing display area of 1700 square meters, exhibited more than 820 cultural relics, divided into "Qianling cultural relics essence" exhibition, "Qianling accompanying tomb excavation mural line depiction boutique" exhibition, "Yongtai princess tomb stone" exhibition and other parts. Today, the East Pavilion is an important cultural relics exhibition, the West Pavilion is the change of the ancient Silk Road, and the Western style Tang Sancai exhibition.
