City C Debut Plan | Zhenfu Lane, Quanzhou, the residence of Huang Zonghan, the governor of Guangdong and Guangxi
| Zhenfu Lane, Quanzhou, the residence of Huang Zonghan, the governor of Guangdong and Guangxi.
Zhenfu Lane in the ancient city of Quanzhou is the residence of Huang Zonghan, the governor of Guangdong and Guangxi and the Minister of Five Ports in the Qing Dynasty. The Milu Cultural and Creative Park and Ye Yigen's Western-style building are also in this lane.
To visit Zhenfu Lane, you need to distinguish between Zhenfu Lane and Zhenfu Si Lane. Zhenfu Lane connects Zhongshan Middle Road, near Chengtian Temple; Zhenfu Si Lane connects Zhongshan North Road, near Weiyuan Building. These two lanes in Quanzhou are related to the Zhenfu Si of the Ming Dynasty's Jinyiwei.
Zhenfu Lane in Quanzhou, west to Zhongshan Middle Road, east to Furui Lane, only about 200 meters.
The section of Zhenfu Lane near Zhongshan Road is mainly clothing stores and snack bars. There are homestays, coffee shops, beverage shops, restaurants, experience halls, etc. in the Milu Cultural and Creative Park. It is a good cultural and tourism leisure place.
Huang Zonghan's former residence and Ye Yigen's Western-style building are located in the middle of Zhenfu Lane. These two are the main historical buildings in the lane. However, they have not been developed for tourism, and tourists cannot enter.
There is a "Dasi Ma" stele outside Huang Zonghan's former residence, which is very conspicuous, but this Dasi Ma is not Huang Zonghan's official position (this position has been abolished after the Southern and Northern Dynasties), but a nickname among scholars in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
When visiting Zhenfu Lane, in addition to understanding the cultural history of Quanzhou, you can also find some interesting cultural and creative small gifts here, enjoy the ancient city of Quanzhou on the Milu rooftop, and even stay in the homestay here.

West Street is not accessible to motor vehicles.
It is 36 degrees during the day, and it is cooler than Shanghai at night. In the morning, I punched in two museums, rested in the afternoon, and went to the night market to eat and drink at night. Before Quanzhou was included in the world heritage, I went to Quanzhou. This is one of the starting points of the ancient Maritime Silk Road. It has retained many precious monuments of foreign trade and cultural exchanges in the Tang and Song Dynasties. The most famous are Kaiyuan Temple, Qingjing Temple, Tianhou Palace, Guanyue Temple, etc., simple and elegant. Or colorful, or show exotic style, it is worth serious look at the fine products.
The ancient city of Quanzhou is the starting point of the World Cultural Heritage and the Maritime Silk Road. It has a complex of southern Anhui characteristics such as Kaiyuan Temple, Qingjing Temple and other millennium ancient temples, Zhongshan Street, Tumen Street and West Street. The most appreciated is its characteristic bus battery car, 2 yuan per person, and you can go anywhere point-to-point. Convenient and affordable.
