This is definitely a must visit attraction when you live in Queenstown. The beginning of the trail is steep, but if you take it slowly, it's okay, you can finish it easily. It took me an hour to climb to the top of the mountain! Don't stop climbing after the basket of dreams, it will take 20 minutes to get to the top from there, and it's definitely worth it. Some comments say that the scenery at the top is the same as the basket of dreams, which is completely fake. You can see the 360-degree scenery there without any trees blocking it! Go, you won't regret it!

Queenstown Hill is located on the east side of the town of Queenstown. It is a very tall hillside. You can take a cable car up the hill to tour the entire Queenstown and the surrounding scenery with a panoramic view. The air on the mountain is very fresh, but it is a bit cold, so be careful to bring more clothes to keep warm.
Queenstown is surrounded by mountains. Perhaps the name of this attraction covers all the mountains, and the most visited by tourists and the most complete facilities are the Bob Peak not far northwest of the town center. The sky cable car is the most convenient, and there are also hiking routes that go around the southwest side of the mountain. The top of the mountain has the best view overlooking the town and Lake Wakatipu. Even the naked eye can see a very good view. The distance is just right. And from the viewing platform upwards, there are various amusement facilities, you can play slowly and stay for a long time.
Take family hike to the Queenstown hill summit at our own pace for the perfect panorama over the Wakatipu basin and back to the divide of the Southern Alps
The walk is very steep and it is not easy for most people to reach the top of the mountain. Most of the children are running up, and we are about 30 minutes behind. Bring water, put on a pair of suitable shoes, it is worth to see the 360-degree view.
