In July 2022, I walked on the Edoya mountain road and visited the Todo Island Observatory. It was very nice to be able to see many alpine plants (flowers 々), including Nikko Kisuge. If you come to Rebun Island during the flower season, it is essential to visit here.

It is an observatory where you can see Todo Island in the north of Cape Sukoton. Not only Todo Island but also the view on the east side of the opposite side is beautiful. The coastline that draws a gentle curve over Cape Kanedano is beautiful.

It is an observatory near Cape Sukoton, the northernmost part of Rebun Island. Unfortunately, it was light rain and there was fog in the sea, so I couldn't see Todo Island at all. It seems that I have no choice but to bet on another opportunity.

It is a superb view point of Rebun Island. There are many people hiking and drive carefully. There is no sign, but if you go from Cape Sucoton, it is difficult to pass by oncoming vehicles. The nature guide told me to turn Ｕ in the parking lot because I couldn't pass the large bus.

You can easily see various alpine plants by parking your car in the parking lot here and walking a little on the paved Edoya mountain road. Recommended for those with weak legs. A rare white 〜 pink eleven siogama was in bloom on the western slope down to Cape Scotton about 400 ｍ from here.
