My eyes adjusted for a while, and a huge cross came in through the natural light above my head. The top cross extends downward, and the colorful mosaic glass forms a biblical story. A wonderful innovative design. It took 12 years to build and was completed in 1976. In addition to the main entrance, the church has several doors on both sides. All the doors are open, and no security personnel can be seen. Whether the church's trust in the people and the public's fear of God make standing guard redundant, there is a small souvenir shop on one side of the gate. The Skye Church (Cathedral of San Bastión, Rio de Janeiro) was built in 1964 and completed in 1976, is a modern building with reinforced concrete structures.
