Euromast

During World War II, the German army's powerful bombing reduced most of the city center of Rotterdam to ruins. The Europa Tower, built after the war and standing in the city park, was a symbol of modernization and hope for the future for most people at the time. Its height, shape and location have great cultural and historical value, and it is the best location to overlook Rotterdam and Europe's largest port.

The EuroTower is a great way to see the whole city of Rotterdam! I loved recognizing and seeing the places I know and love, and I found a better way home while I was still there. However, be warned, it is really cold (as you would expect), especially since you have to wait about 7 minutes (at least) for the 360-degree elevator to the top!
