There are many temple towers in the precincts, and it is a reasonably good temple. It is a Shingon sect Omuro school temple, and the principal image is Senju Kanzeon Bodhisattva. This is a "seven gates" with five tile roofs with characteristic mountain gates. It was a historic pilgrimage temple with a shallow relationship with Emperor Sutoku. Since the approach to the precincts was under construction, the Jusanjui stone pagoda in the part where vehicles and buses usually pass is a walking process, so you can see it slowly this time. Instead, it is necessary to walk from the bus parking lot with 々. ... of Tongshoji Temple, which enshrines the retired emperor Sutoku.
