The San Antonio Zoo is a great place for families, with plenty of attractions for kids, a good mix of indoor and outdoor exhibits, and lots of spots to rest. The animals seem well cared for, and there’s a wide variety to see, from giraffes to playful otters. The layout makes it easy to explore without feeling overwhelmed, and there are plenty of snack stands and shaded areas to take a break. The highlight of our visit was the kangaroo experience, where we got to walk among them up close. Overall, it’s a fun, well-maintained zoo that’s worth a visit.
The San Antonio Zoo is a popular local destination for family trips. The zoo has more than 750 species and a total of more than 9,000 animals. Visitors can get a close look at animals in different ecological environments, such as the African grasslands, Asian rainforests, and South American jungles. The park has specially designed interactive experience areas, such as the "Touch Pool" that allows visitors to touch marine life with their own hands and feel the charm of nature; the "Children's Farm" provides an opportunity to learn about poultry and livestock, allowing children to learn while playing. In addition, the zoo also regularly holds activities such as animal feeding and popular science lectures to enhance visitors' understanding of wildlife protection.

This zoo has a lot of animals to see. it's a great zoo. The only downside is the parking so either get there early. All the indoor exhibits close at 5. The elephants had already been put up by the time we made it around to view them.
Lazier lions are so cute, it may be too hot in Texas
The animals here are cute every time but it is recommended to bring sun protection
I really like this zoo. The view is beautiful.
