a lot of sea lions! a must see place in san francisco! should get a sea lion plushie as well as a gift!
The Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco is the earliest known tourist attraction, located in San Francisco Bay within the Golden Gate Bridge, with a mild climate, calm water and pleasant scenery throughout the year. Fisherman's Wharf is close to the old town of San Francisco. There are many things to see, many things to play, and the transportation is convenient. There are many restaurants and hotels nearby, so you can walk slowly.
Business Hours- 24 hoursAddress- Pier 39Itinerary Scheduling- Seeing the 🦭 sea lion, the sunset, and enjoying the seafood.
Came here on September 24, 2017. San Francisco is close to the sea, and the Fisherman's Wharf here is very famous and has always been one of the most lively places in San Francisco. Today, it still retains traditional functions such as seafood markets and docks, and has added leisure and entertainment formats such as catering, entertainment, and shopping to meet tourists' needs for food, drink, and entertainment. The iconic sign of Fisherman's Wharf is near Pier 45, and the most lively place is Pier 39.
Pier 39 is a great place to eat and hang out. Follow their WeChat and you can get a 2-hour free parking ticket at the visitor center. It's worth the money! It seems to cost $9 for an hour of parking. You must try the food, especially the crabs and seafood. You can see the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz from afar. A famous tourist attraction, very lively and joyful.
A must-see in San Francisco! The Fisherman Wharf public parking lot is quite expensive at $9 an hour. I recommend you to go eat crabs (free parking for eating crabs)!!! It is right opposite the sign in the picture below. You can go to the first to the third store. Each Dungeness crab costs about $22 in this season. It is huge. [You must eat crabs when you come to San Francisco, just like you must eat lobsters when you go to Boston. What's more, the lobsters here are no less than those in Boston. They are very delicious and the cooking methods are different. They are really delicious]!!! You can eat crabs until you can't walk! There are also lobsters. Lobsters are about $45 each, but one lobster is enough for two people. It's very delicious! The most important thing is that you can park for free when eating here. Hehe, we gave an hour and ate 5 crabs. We had enough! ! ! Next to eating crabs is the place to see seals, which is just right for digestion...
The circular billboard of the big crab is the symbol of this place. Once you find the "big crab", you will have arrived at Fisherman's Wharf. This is a good place to taste seafood. There are restaurants everywhere. If you want to say that it is authentic, I don't eat much and I can't say it is authoritative, but I can recommend a restaurant with a great location - Applebee's. Sitting in a semi-open restaurant, holding a bottle of beer, looking at the distant mountains and the sea view, and nearby is food and life. Seagulls fly into the crowd to find food, street performers perform vividly, and the motorcycle team ridden by teenagers, everything in front of you makes up the most unforgettable scenery of Fisherman's Wharf.
