We enjoyed a nice walk by the Bay by parking for free at Maritime Green. There is a nice Green Grass area and thus the name. We then wakked and saw view of Fort Mason Center, Alcatraz, the small boat harbor marina, and the Golden Gate Bridge.its a good place to also watch boats on the Bay.
You can walk from Marina Green to the Fort Point under the Golden Gate Bridge. The Marina Green opposite is a great place to see Marina Green Park. You can see the Golden Gate Bridge at this best location at San Francisco Marina Bay Yacht Harbor.
I wish I had a boat so I'd have more excuses to drop by this area. Fun to just walk around and explore.
