Lombard Street is so named for its multiple hairpin turns. The 40 degree inclination here poses a serious challenge to driving skills. The whole street is paved with bricks and lined on either side with foliage as well as multicolored flowers, offering diverse views all around the year. A peculiar crooked way can be photographed at the lower end of the street. The distant San Francisco - Oakland Bay Bridge and the Alcatraz Island can be viewed from high up in the Lombard Street, making it an ideal spot to take a snapshot of perfect harmony of streetscape and ocean view. Heading all the way north along the Lombard Street will take one to Fisherman's Wharf, a place to savor gourmet food and splurge on shopping.

It's only a very crooked block long, so it always can be congested. The best way to experience it is to take the Cablecar and get dropped off at the top of Hyde and Lombard streets, then walk down taking pictures of the views. It's a little bit steep, so make sure you wear proper footwear. You could also circle around and then experience the drive down as it's one way only when driving.
Tips! Make sure you come on a sunny and not rainy day.

Jiuquhua Street is located on Lombard Street in San Francisco. It is the section between Hengde Street and Leavenworth Street. It is the most curved street in the United States. There are 8 turns in a short section of the road, which is a test of driving skills. It is often seen that the car is connected end to end, and it has become a famous attraction in San Francisco.
This road has a 40-degree slope, very steep, west high and low east, the car can only be single-line, from the west side of Hyde Street, from the east of Leavenworth Street. Because the flower street is high in the west and low in the east, it is only in the morning that you can see the sunny side. Basically, there will be very few tourists before 10 o'clock. After 10 o'clock, it is very difficult to take photos of people without heads.
