What travelers say:

McKinney Falls State Park, more than 20 kilometers outside of Austin, the capital of Texas, is a great place for camping and hiking. A clear stream in the park runs through the entire park, forming two waterfalls with a small drop on two huge rocks. Flowing water carved many strange holes in the stone, forming a very characteristic landscape.

Fun Trip if you have Tweens/Teens and adults

The water holes and falls are so much fun. My kids always love jumping off the cliffs into the water - they could do that all day long and swimming around in the water holes. We also like to fish to...

    Very busy!

We had a really nice walk around the park. The falls were kind of... underwhelming if you have been to other waterfalls. No staff around so people being stupid when jumping into the falls.
