The San Bebastian City Hall is located at the north end of Alderdi Eder Gardens just south of the Old Town. This is an attractive landmark building that was constructed in 1887 as a casino that served as a popular entertainment venue for city politicians and the upper echelon of society until the ban on gambling in 1924.It seems the property fell into the hands of the City Council in 1947 and continues to serve as City Hall to this day. You can conveniently spend a few minutes enjoying the impressive architecture and exterior that quickly reminds one of the Monte Carlo Casino while spending time in the Gardens or before making way into Old Town.1
