Sakhalin-related museum in the former main building of the Hokkaido Government Office. Unfortunately, the former main building is under construction, so I'm sorry I couldn't enter it. Reiwa 7 Year 2 month after completion of construction.
It is a museum on the 2 floor of the former Hokkaido Government Building with red bricks. The exhibitions and materials are substantial, but what I'm not sure is that the southern half of Sakhalin was Japanese territory? Japan also claims that the northern 4 island is a Japanese territory, but is the southern half of Sakhalin different?
On the 2 floor of the former road office (red brick)

While walking around the old road office from Kitasanjo Dori street, there was an exhibition hall on the second floor of the old road office, and 々 materials were exhibited. We only understood that we had a harsh past that we could not know.
This is an area where you can exhibit and view materials related to Sakhalin on the 2nd floor of the former Hokkaido Government Office. Admission is free, so if you come to Hokkaido, I thought it was important to learn not only about sightseeing but also about history.
It exhibited the difficulty of exploring Sakhalin and the war. Also, I am horrified when I hear that a young woman did not abandon her mission until the end and committed suicide by poisoning at the end. Unfortunately, tourists from neighboring countries make loud noises. Apparently it's on a sightseeing course, but I would like to say that if you're not interested, don't come.
